Real estate readiness, also called home staging, works in steps. This process can be tailored to fit your needs and budget but for the maximum results we highly recommend the three-step model. These steps are: The Home Stylist analyzes the house and develops a comprehensive home staging plan; homeowners follow recommendations; The Home Stylist returns to strategically style, arrange decor, and fine tune. The end result is a house that has an irresistible first impression and appeals to the widest range of potential buyers. Average time for completion varies by house. Home Staging is critical in today's competitive market.
Home Staging Comprehensive Assessment: $130 one time fee for whole house
On-Site work coordination (meet with painter, landscaper etc) $69 per hour (quarter hour minimum)
Hands-on staging, accessorizing, and/or open house prep : $69 per hour. (one hour minimum)
The Home Stylist also stages vacant houses. Just as builder and model homes are never shown empty, neither should your house. This service is perfect for flippers and investors too.
Vacant staging includes rental of great furniture and accessories for a polished dynamic look that gets that SOLD sign in the yard!
Vacant staging quotes: Photos will be taken and scope of services with fees with be sent usually within 24 hours. No fee for quote.

One Day Room Makeovers
A one-room makeover begins with a consultation to talk about your goals for the room. Next, the room is completely cleared. Each item of furniture is reintroduced into the room highlighting the focal points, followed by the lighting and accessories. With the homeowner's permission, The Home Stylist may bring belongings from other rooms to complete the redesign. All accessories and artwork are re-positioned to accent the new placement of furniture.
The result is a beautiful, professionally decorated room utilizing existing items. Occasionally a list may be given to you suggesting items you could add to the room to further enhance the style. Average time to complete a room is 3 to 5 hours.
One-Room Makeover: $269 .
$50 deposit is due at initial consultation with the remaining due upon completion of room makeover.
Shopping
The shopping service begins with a consultation. Together we decide what you need, what you want to spend and if you want me to shop for you or with you. You can specify internet or local stores. These shopping trips can be for any décor item you may need: furniture, carpeting, lamps and accessories, et cetera.
Shopping Fee: $69 per hour.
Fresh Start
This service focuses on celebrating life changes. Maybe you are getting married or remarried and can’t figure out how to merge two houses into one home, or maybe you are moving into a retirement community and you need to downsize your belongings – this service can help you edit and blend to create a beautiful home that reflects your new phase of life. A consultation will provide you with ideas and suggestions of what to do with your belongings and takes about 1 to 2 hours to complete. A Fresh Start Redesign service actually arranges the most appropriate furniture and accessories into your new home. Your home decor will be so beautifully blended you’ll think it was always this way. A redesign takes about 3 to 5 hours per room.
Fresh Start Consultation: $129.

It can be mailed so you can personally hand it to your loved one or it can be send directly to them. Presentations
The Home Stylist can provide fun and interactive presentations for your group. These speaking engagements can be tailored to fit your needs and are usually 20 - 40 minutes in length which includes interior redesign demonstrations and hand outs. After speaking, most audiences love to have a questions/answer session. This is usually a great audience interaction time. The Home Stylist also speaks on location in stores that sell home décor items. During in-store presentations, audience members are asked to challenge The Home Stylist with décor items that they find hard to decorate with.
